I dont usually make reviews but this is very great VR experience in the world of Psychonauts. If your'e a fan of Pyschonauts waiting for number 2, definitely get this. Charming and fun.. Yes, it is a bit on the short side, but this is some of the finest VR execution I've seen in a game thus far. The way you warp from each person's perspective to get through the world and the various ways you solve puzzles with Raz's psychic powers we know from the first game combine really well into the smoothest and most clever seated VR expereince out there. This game is built ground up for VR the way other games need to be. A full-fledged, more than 2 hour long VR game of this calibre is, in my opinion, the current holy grail of VR. Until then, I'll enjoy playing through this game a few more times just to appreciate the jokes and marvel at the clever ways this game takes you to the delightly twisted Psychonauts universe.. This is a prime example of how to do a VR game right!. An amazing VR campaign, with good visuals, funny jokes, and good nods to the previous cult classic game. I bought the Rhombus of Ruin when it was on sale and loved it. However it is not too long as I completed it in a little over 2 hours. Would be a lot of fun for all ages, so long they can figure out a few puzzles along the way.Graphics and storyline is pretty sweet, but you need to avoid moving around. This is not a roam / standing VR game as such, doing so can move you outside of the playing area and just end up with a black screen. Perhaps best to sit or stand (if you are a kid or short enough) in one spot to look around. The idea of moving in this game it from mind control, jumping from one persons point of view to another.You also don't have hands as such, rather look to what you want to control and click the controller button. (that character scared me in the first game dang it!)Dislikes: My favorite thing about psychonauts was the level design, going into someone's mind and seeing how their perceptions shape the world around them. From Boyd's warped paranoid milkman conspiracy to Sasha's perfectly orderly target range cube. But this game really doesn't do that very much, keeping you in the overworld for most of the game. ):It's also a bit short. It took me about 2 hours to beat it, and if you know what you're doing you can finish it in an hour which is both a tad disappointing and a tad dangerous with Steam refunds possessing a "1 hour of gameplay" limit.Over all I loved it, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it for that price to a new comer. Play the original Psychonauts first, and if you don't have VR, try not to sweat it. Cutscenes are available on youtube and you really won't miss much unless you're a die-hard psychonauts fan or broke VR fanatic.
